Multi-Tech Productions, Inc. is proud to offer a wide range of product lines.  This feature benefits a vast array of client styles, building sizes, and budgets.

Understanding your project's progression in depth is a key to bringing forth the audio visual systems you are envisioning.

Many do not recognize the importance of preliminary planning of audio visual, thus allowing for an extreme increase in the outlay of monies.  For instance:  Let's use and audio system as our example.  It is much more cost effective for an audio systems installer to run cable and install floor pockets before the concrete is poured, the ceiling is in place, and/or the stage area has been covered.  By joining the building team early on, you will aleveate many additional costs such as extra labor, possibly having to replace floor coverings, and conduit would have been planned accordingly to be in place before the foundation was poured.

Audio visual installations are normally performed in phases in sync with the progression of the new building consturction.  This is why it is ever so important to select and bring your AV company on board at the onset. (HINT: Before blue prints)

Multi-Tech Producitons, Inc. performs Phase I: infrastructure.  This normally includes cabling, wall plates, floor pockets, rigging points, etc.

Once a building is completed regarding the infrastructure, Multi-Tech then waits for the building to be secure to begin Phase II.  Example: operational doors and windows - meaning all equipment will be in a secure building, free from outdoor elements.

During the down time of actual installation of Phase II, equipment and processing racks are being pre-built and tested. This allows for ease of installation once the "finished" product is delivered to the job site.

Often times, final steps are not taken immediately upon secure status.  Example:  If there is any painting to be done, or "popcorn" ceiling to be applied, the final installation of the visible product would take place after such tasks are completed.

Phase III: Multi-Tech Productions, Inc. puts on the finishing touches.  Things such as tying up loose wires, labeling consoles to provide your ease of operation, sampling the room for audio systems, light system focusing, etc.  These finishing procedures are what tie a project together to not only make it operate at optimum levels, yet in addition present an estically  pleasing appearance of the finished project.

When it comes to ordering product, this process does not necessarily follow along at the same building progression pace.  3 Examples:  Multi-Tech Productions, Inc bench tests all new product received before installing.  This helps to prevent installing equipment twice.

Secondly, product is not always available and may have to be manufactured upon the next "run" at the factory which could take place up to 120 days out.

Thirdly, the equipment which has been specified for your project may become discontinued should you wait an extended period of time to release a product draw, thus creating a change order for a new product model which in turn may cost you more.

It is very important you follow your AV contract payment schedule so equipment is ordered with ample time to allow for the above mentioned, as well as keep you on your projected budget and not inflating costs with multiple change orders.

Warranty is an important byproduct to Multi-Tech when it comes to selecting product for a job.  They spend many hours working with your budget to ensure the product selected both performs to the best standard, and carries the best represented manufacture's warranty.

The main points of Product & Installation begins with you - the client.  The top 3 things to remember:  1. Plan early on, choose your AV company while you are selecting your arcitect/builder.  2.  Stick to your AV constract payment scheduel to ensure the best possbile situations to get the job done on time.  3.  Allow your AV company exclusive access to the building to put the finishing touches on the system(s) to complete a project of both high sound and visual quality.

Retros or upgrades are handled somewhat differently due to the pre-existing conditions.  For example:  The things you want to alleveate upon building new cannot always be thwarted regarding an upgrade.  Things such as hard ceilings with no access - covered stages - etc.  often times allow an upgrade or retro to cost more than a new system in a new facililty simply because of intensive labor costs.

Another aspect of AV installations is not a pretty side, but a side to be dealt with none the less.
Yes, Multi-Tech has performed "rescue" missions as well.

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!

The above depicts an actual "rescue mission" call for Multi-Tech.  As you can see, the wiring of the rack has simply gone amuck!  We like to prefer to this as a "spaghetti western" system!  How did this happen?  Too many non-informed people trying to fix an audio visual problem by adding a piece of equipment here, and a piece of equipment there...before you know it - you have this, and it was Multi-Tech to the rescue.

Keeping the same AV company before, during, and yes even long after your installation is important.
